Monday, March 9, 2015 Message from the Undergraduate Coordinator Dear Students in the Undergraduate Programs in German, You are probably aware that we still do not know how long the Unit 1 strike will continue. Since graduate students play such a central role in the teaching activities of the German Department, we are particularly hard hit by the strike. It is above all the language courses (GER 100, 200 and 300) that are affected. In all of these courses, classes continue to be suspended. The University has decided to keep its programs running during the strike which means that you are expected to continue learning, even though you don’t have classroom instruction. For this reason, we are asking students in courses where classes have been suspended to work through the course material at home. In order to make this possible you will be receiving a schedule of exercises for the coming four weeks. Please complete these exercises and self-correct as instructed.
