The German Department at the University of Toronto is inviting you to a one-day workshop sponsored by the DAAD on December 5th. This seminar is intended to promote the professional development of graduate student and early-career German language instructors through stimulating hands-on workshops on the practice and theory of second language pedagogy by expert practitioners and researchers in the field. The theme of this year’s seminar is “Bridging Practice and Theory.” Workshop topics will include incorporating history into the German curriculum, learning strategies and retrieval practice, as well as the useful incorporation of generative AI and technologies.
