Guggenheim Fellowships recognize outstanding individuals ‘who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts’. It is one of the most prestigious awards in the humanities, and the GF receives up to 4000 applications annually.
Congratulations to Professor Shernshis, whose work has not only pushed boundaries in her field and enhanced the profile of our Department and the University of Toronto, but made important contributions to the broader community.
