Guest lecture, March 3: Professor Catriona MacLeod: Paper/Scraps: Writing with Scissors in Romanticism

CATRIONA MACLEOD is Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Term Professor in Humanities at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is also currently chairing the Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures. She is the author most recently of Fugitive Objects: Sculpture and Literature in the German Nineteenth Century (Northwestern), which was awarded the Jean-Pierre Barricelli Prize in 2014 for the best book in Romanticism Studies. A co-edited volume, Un/Translatables: New Maps for Germanic Literatures, is scheduled for publication later this year. Since 2011, she has been Senior Editor of the journal Word & Image.
