Junior-Professor Dr. Torsten Hoffmann teaches German Literature at the Goethe-University Frankfurt. He has held visiting positions at the Sorbonne Paris and at the universities of Torun, Czernowitz and Tartu. His research focuses on intermediality, body & literature, the sublime, and interviews. Among his publications are: Anthropologien der Endlichkeit (Ed., 2011), W.G. Sebald: ‘Auf ungeheuer dünnem Eis’. Gespräche 1971-2001 (Ed., 2011), Nationalepen zwischen Fakten und Fiktionen (Ed., 2011), Rainer Maria Rilke: Schriften zur Literatur und Kunst (Ed., 2009), Lehrer ohne Lehre.
