An Ambassador’s Perspective on Germany and Canada, Feb 16

An Ambassador’s Perspective on Germany and Canada, Feb 16

Even in a world where English presides as the dominant language of international diplomacy, the benefits of learning other languages remain incalculable. What are the advantages of understanding German language and culture for a career in Canada? How can immersion into German society influence one’s perspective on other parts of the world? What makes the relationships between German-speaking countries and Canada relevant today?

On February 16th, join the GSSU in conversation with Ambassador Jennifer May to explore these questions – and more.

Time: 11:10am to 12pm
Location: Carr Hall 403
