Down to Earth – Sustainable Sourcing Initiative in the German Department

As a part of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices, the Department has joined Karma, a member-owned, democratically run co-operative that has been in operation since 1972. Karma’s focus is on organic, local, fair trade and zero waste products. The co-op organizes social and informational events, engages in community development and participates in initiatives such as the Non-GMO Project. The Department will be sourcing a number of products that we use on a regular basis from Karma and other ethical and environmentally friendly suppliers.
