German Department student Tobias Wilczek wins University of Toronto Excellence Award

Tobias-René Wilczek, a third-year undergraduate student of German Studies and Philosophy, just won a University of Toronto Excellence Award (UTEA). This highly competitive prize, which is only awarded to 14 students across all the humanities and social sciences programs at U of T, provides funding for undergraduate research. Tobias will pursue a summer research project collaborating with John Noyes, who nominated him.

This is the third UTEA awarded to a student in our Department in the past three years, and we are very happy that Tobias contributes to this excellent record.

Congratulations to Tobias!
