The background:

In 2015 comedian and occasional rapper, Kazim Akboga, collaborated on a brilliant advertisement for Berlin Public Transit (Berliner Verkehrs-Gesellschaft, BVG). The rap is incredibly simple with a catchy refrain that is also a can’t-do-without phrase in German: ‘Ist mir egal!’ = ‘I don’t care!’

The challenge:

Keeping with the same beat and ‘Ist mir egal’ refrain, create your own rap. Get it on video, mail it to us – and done! Prizes for the top three videos!! First prize also wins pizza for any German class you are taking.
