Congratulations to Participants in the SMC Research Forum Contest

The results of the SMC Undergraduate Research Forum Poster Contest are in! First prize in the German category went to Gongjun (Katie) Gao for her fantastic poster on ‘Language Change: What History Reveals about German’; Nina Christianson took second with her informative ‘BMW and the Stock Market: Relations to World History and Political and Economic Events.’ Special mention also to Tereem Tufail, who presented on ‘The Politics of Architecture in Germany.’ It is great to see such a strong showing by students of German!
